just threw my charger on it and now in reading 11.8 at the relays and 13 at the battery when switching back and forth i get a flicker on the low lights

could it be the pilot automotive relays??? $5.99

if you read 13 at battery terminals and 11.8 at relay sockets simultaneously. i would say you should find out why you have a voltage drop of 1.2 volts. old or insufficient wiring or connection perhaps.

just checked one of my buddies truck same year etc with factory lights and he has a 2v drop from battery to lights

sounds like you could use some clean new wires or switch contacts. i got an idea. use some new 12 -14 gauge wiring to the light circuits that are fused say 20 amps but bypasses the head switch and see what happens. do the problems persist?

ran 2 wires to the battery with toggle switches one on the high side of the diode for high and one on the low and switched them simultaneously and still had the same problem

how do i check their condition?

dont think its either considering it switches sides either pass or driver side

i put test leads from the batt to each ground to add a lil umph same deal?

look at the grounds in the locations i described and loo for damage such as loose wire corrosion and such. for the head light bulbs unplug them and inspect inside the plugs and sockets. each side head light module has it own ground.

not sure what you mean with last question.

How to wire up the 4-HI mod.

Everything looks good and clean no corrosion or loose wires. Is there a factory hi/low relay?
