4 wheel drive help

I have a 99 Tahoe 4x4, 5.7L. My 2 wheel drive light keeps going out. After pressing the button a few times the light comes back on but eventually goes out after driving. Any suggestions as to what might cause this?

bad connection maybe?...

my light does the same thing. it doesn't affect anything so i just left it alone. if you find out why it does that please let me know.
