I've got an 04 Escalade with the LQ9 has 345hp stock (im guessing it doesn't make exactly 345hp) with a tune, cat-back exhaust (maybe headers too) and Airaid intake tube & filter would getting to 400hp be possible? Or would I need more mods?

With the addition of long tubes and a cam you'd probably make 400 to the crank

Remember what he said^^^. Hp ratings from the factory are at the crank... not at the wheels. Drop 20% to figure out what ur getting at the wheels... especially on an awd, and thru an automatic.

Here’s a good article on hopping up the LQ9 with bolt-on parts and a tune. They have dyno results for different combinations.

In my taho all stock lq9 and 4l65. Cali and magnaflow exhaust I got 300 to the wheels. That was after the tune.

Oh damn was hoping for 300ish stock, then extra with exhaust intake & tune, this shop here can get me 35-40 hp at the rear wheels with a tune

Im planning on taking mine to get dyno'd to establish a baseline figure for any mods to come. a shop local to me that's big on subarus has an awd dyno that fits our trucks. $90 for three pulls. I'm shooting for the 260 range. Gm's pretty good at under rating their figures so we'll see

Let me know, I found a place here that will tune it, dyno before & after 30-35tq and 35-40hp plus improved shifts etc. for $600
