i had a questing about my 2001 tahoe 5.3 4x4. is the bell housing removable? i am looking at buying a new transmission but the bell housing bolt pattern will only bolt to a 4.7 5.0 and 5.7 engines. my tahoe is a 5.3. i want to know if i can buy that transmission and replace the bell housing. thanks for any answers greatly appreciated
