I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe LS 5.7. My 4wd isn't working. I replaced the push button on the dash. Still nothing. I'm not sure if it's the actuators or a fuse. Does anyone have suggestions?

as in not even on at all? one lit but does not blink and so forth? what mode do you fell you are in now and what do the lights say about it?

It's in 2HI. Only the rear wheels are spinning. I can see the light on the selector switch but the orange light isn't laminating in 4wd/auto. Neither does the neural light up when I put it in neutral and press 4wd.

but the modes are changing mechanically that you can hear of correct? along with no change in light status when it happens?

When I hit the switches, I feel and hear nothing. It's seems as though the 4wd isnt getting power.

on the fuse panel there are two fuses to check. 4wd and t-case. both must not be blown in order for the system to work. check them please.

It ended up being the fuse. I replaced it a few minutes ago and the truck now has 4wd. I can tell I'm going to need u joints but it feels strong
