Which Light? Im not familiar with the NNBS Trucks, so Im assuming they have the selectable switches and the orange dash light which says something like "Service 4-wheel"?

I have an 05 yukon that has had the same thing happen to it. Not as often as 20 min of driving but the light would just come on when it wanted. took it to my mechanic and he told me that it was more than likely a short in the switch that was causing the message. I took the connectors off cleaned them and haven't seen the message since. Not saying that is your problem but that is what happened to mine.

Selector switch or encoder motor sensor are about the only two items that fault on those trucks. Neither are too expensive for the OEM part at the dealer, if you can do the labor yourself. Wouldn't recomend most people taking apart the encoder motor to replace the sensor though. Of couse you need to read which code is setting in the TCCM.

Not sure if your still having this problem but I recently bought a NNBS Tahoe and started having this problem a couple days later. Took it into the dealership and it ended up being the plastic connector to 4x4 actuator on the transfer case had gotten broken and would wiggle loose depending on road conditions and throw the service 4 wheel drive light. The switches and encoder motors on the NNBS Tahoe's don't really have many issues according to the dealership.
