4x10 speaker replacement

need some help picking speakers to replace those hideous 4x10s in the back. crutchfield was zero help. need some recommendations as i am replacing the 4 doors and adding my subs to my system within the next week or so.

I'm in the same boat, looking to update the stereo. There are quite a few options on http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/ Some have reviews some don't. I may just pick up a set from a brand i'm comfortable with and give it a try.

I'm pretty sure they sell 6x9 brackets and that's probably your best way to go

i have some crappy 4x10s off ebay ( i think audio pipe ? ). i had a hard time finding some 4x10s. i know a guy that took his plates down and cut the hole bigger to fit a 6x9. i will be doing that my self this spring

There aren't a whole lot of options out there so when I have done these trucks, I basically just toss in a set of Pioneers. They don't break the bank and sound really good!
