4x4 problems

So I checked it out today. I pulled the actuator out and engaged it outside of the diff and it slowly popped out less than a centimeter at a time and with very little force(I could hold it back with my finger if I tried). Upon inspection I found that I was considerably low on diff fluid and I began to wonder if maybe that actuator is lubricated by the diff fluid and maybe wasn't getting any fluid because it sits clear at the top of the diff? I flushed the diff with fresh fluid and filled to the correct level and now when I press 4hi the light no longer blinks, just stays lit cant really think of an easy way to test it other than just take it wheeling. Ill let you guys know how it goes
