Those cats should not be a massive restriction in the exhaust.
More often then not it's like adding a muffler.
My truck is so much more powerful, and faster. But my mileage went down. Why?
Sounds good, want to hear it, oh it has more power when you hit the gas harder.
Wonder where all that gas went.

Its funny there are so many different opinions on removing cats. Personally if I didn't feel like the cats were junk I would have just left it alone, I have stock exhaust system anyways. I bought the truck with over 200K miles on it with a blown engine, I assume they were the original converters and I bet they were junk by now anyways after having 214K miles on them.
