6.2 cam

I'm kinda new to this stuff, so bear with me...
I have an 07 yukon denali and I would like to put a decent cam in it. What else would I have to do in order to install the cam? (Besides a tune)

Depending on what can you go with, sometimes head components have to be swapped as well like springs and rocker arms.

your truck has VVT...if you decide to get rid of that, youll need a few other components, like new cam sprocket, timing cover, recommended timing chain wedge style tensioner. while your in there, you can decide if you want to get a new oil pump or not as u might be taking it off...your also most likely need new springs and rods as mentioned depending what cam u decide to go with...
