6.5" speakers in door.....will 6.75" Kenwoods fit?

Found some 6 3/4" Kenwood three ways for the rear doors that are 6.5" and I wanted to know if anybody knows if they will still fit....

any help would be awesome

If your talking about the rear doors on a Tahoe/Yukon, then not without some heavy mods. You're going to have to measure the mid for clearance and more than likely make some sort of pod for it to fit or an adapter. But as they say, anything is possible.

Thanks man, I ended up getting some 6.5"s. It wasn't worth the savings to have to modify anything. Thanks again.

the rear doors are 5 1/4's. i had to open up the hole on my pods

i have the standard kenwood excelon 6.5 in my rear door and they were a direct drop in.

some 6.5 baskets will drop right into the 5 1/4 slots.. and others need mods.. depends on the speaker model and brand.. larger basket larger drivers need mods..

correct.. not all manus use the same standard for speaker frame size. some will call a 6" a 6.5 when a true 6.5 is much larger.
