so if i go with 35s would i still have to get it geared?

we all run 35s.

I would advise gearing. My guess is that your truck has 3.42 gears now. People will run stock gear ratios with larger tires but they pay for that in the long run. First to go will be a tranny....the cost of gears will be close to the cost of future repairs

Solid axle swap with a Dana60 front axle and a 14bff in the rear. At least 6-8 inches of lift, and some fender trimming. Also, you will need to run either 4.88 or 5.13 gears

Or another words, don't run 38's on the stock IFS with a lift. It's just not going to work out well for you

And if you just run 35's, you will need/want to regear. 4.56's gears would be the best choice

ok thanks guys i think im gonna go with 35s i have 285s on it now and i think the guy who had it before me regeared it once and i shouldnt need a body lift to fit the 35s right

no body lift needed for 35's. i have 36's with cutout flares and 6" lift with no rubbing whatsoever...
