6l80 Rebuild

Torque converters are outrageously expensive for the 6l80. Those will be out of my budget unfortunately.

IF you don't replace the converter with the rebuild, you are doing yourself a disservice. The oem
converters fail around 100K, depending on care and usage. If the converter clutch fails, you will be rebuilding the entire trans again.
Stock type converters that are a better design can be had for $300-$400

The company that will be doing the rebuild is getting me a new converter. It is just a stock replacement from GM though. Id like to replace it with something that has a lil more stall but budget doesnt allow for it.
