You past guidance has changed the way I operate my 6L80 when towing heavy as well. I now run it in 4th @ 65mph on the highway all day long.

I'm curious, do you know the ratio on 4th?

For negotiating grades, you want some underdrive. Mostly level grades and loads within the vehicle's limits, towing in 5th (an overdrive gear) is fine. Just my opinion and what I would do...
That's the main reason. We have lots of rolling hills here as we work our way up on, and back down from the Piedmont for the Appalachians. If I didn't keep it in 4th, I'd be up or downshifting every 20-30 seconds or so. If I'm on a long flat section where I know I can easily hold 5th at modest power, I'll click the range button up one gear.

I've noticed that the most recent videos on YouTube for Richard & Teresa Educational Transmission Videos are back to using the Precision Transmission channel. Maybe that's been going on but I just noticed it on YouTube.

I noticed that too, and they seem to use both channels now. But they stagger the videos one day apart. I like them and learn more each time I watch their videos.
I'm also a fan of Nick Transmissions videos too, and find them very educational.

Trent had a falling out with his parents and left the shop over a year ago. Soon after, Richard opened a shop on his property next to his home and Cody still works with him. I don't watch as much as I used to but the other day Richard mentioned that Trent was coming over to do some welding on a customer's race car. That's good. I was following Trent's channel but didn't see much activity last year and forgot about it.

I very much appreciate their videos and our very own @NickTransmissions doing videos on youtube on our transmissions. Which reminds me, I have to watch Nick's build video of that 2010 6L80...
