Hey guys. I have a set of Kicker SS 8" Mid bass drivers for my 97 4 doorTahoe, but I need some ideas/suggestions/advice on mounting ideas for them. I've been told to put them in the back doors, under the back seats, front doors, etc. Under the back seat is the easiest, but I know I wont be able to hear them. Any input will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

custom kicks?
Well, after a lot of head scratching, I've decided to put them in the front doors along with my 6.5" components. I'm going to have to do some fiberglass work to be able to fit them. A lot of work actually since the main issue with putting them in the doors is mounting depth. I'm going to the junkyard this week to look for another set of door panels so I can work on them and leave my original set alone.
It doesn't seem like there is a whole lot of interest in installing midbass drivers on here, but I will take pictures along the way and keep updating on my progress! I'm going to try and tear into this over the weekend! Wish me luck! haha

I would personally like to see the install pics! Sounds like a cool idea and Ive been thinking of doing something like this. BTW what part of TN? Im in Murfreesboro

we've doen the CVT 10" in doors, anything over 6.5" will take some custom work.
Good deal! Glad there is some interest out there! I'm in Tullahoma. You're about 45 minutes from me. I usually run up there every couple of weeks or so.
