Hey guys, I may have an opportunity for somethin', but I need some advice from you experienced lifters out there.

So there's a kid at my school with a 1992 Full size blazer (pic of it is attached) who has a pretty decent IFS kit on it and some alloy wheels. This guy is a dumb ass, and doesn't know how to take care of a truck, and he's having all kinds of problems. He once left the hood unlatched and it flew up and broke off while he was driving, and he blew a head gasket. Anyway, he just bought a brand new street bike, and I think he's planning to unload this truck pretty soon.

So, my question for you guys is if I can snag this Blazer for cheap, is the IFS system on those similar enough to the 95 generation that I would be able to use his lift kit if I put it on mine? Or at least part of? I know there might be some drive train issues, because of the wheelbase length, but they're basically the same IFS system, correct? I'm not worried about the rear lift now, it's just like a 3" block, I think. If so, I would like to jump on this offer soon, and what do you guys think a good price for it would be? Keeping in mind that the engine has a blown gasket, the hood is basically gone, the interior is really worn out, and the seller is pretty frustrated with it.

Any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated. I'll try and steal a few more pics and get some more info about the truck soon.

I would think it would be the same and would fit since so many things are interchangeable now a days but maybe someone else can chime in on this.

With some work, that Blazer would be a good daily driver or a good wheeler. I'd pick it up myself if I was closer.

x2, be a good trail truck. i think you should be alright for the lift kit, don't recall the listing a difference between 2 and 4 doors when i bought mine.
