Ordered wrong cable; too short. Can't even get the door panel on.

Installed CT sounds strato 6.5 on ds since i had the door panel off anyway.

Well, still can't get out without using the outside handle and that just looks raggedy. I'll order another on Amazon and as a backup, call the dealers to see if anyone has one.

I'll be doing a few returns to Amazon.

Hit and miss on the handle but good you still figured it out.
Let me know how those sound. They're on my list for door replacements.

Hopefully autozone can have me one by time I leave work today.

On my hr drive to work, they see sound better. The sensitivity much be higher bc they are way louder than the SS's. I need to look up their specs since they were in the truck when I bought the truck. The highs are 20x better! I will retune when the other side is installed.

I have sound deadner, a bunch actually, and I may or may not install in the doors.

Finally got the right cable from AutoZone. Will install after work with the ps CT sounds components and retune via AutoEQ.

18 minutes and door now opens from the inside. Started 18:22. 1st test 18:40. You may now return to your regular scheduled program.

Edit: the other half of CT sounds will have to wait until another day [emoji21]

I actually thought about calling and getting a quote to see what they would charge just to see. I'm thinking it would be no cheaper than $200. $80 part. $120 labor.

Old man mode. Lurked on Amazon for a while and finally decided to pick these up. We'll see how these work. Wanted something other than the traditional round ones. I think these flow a little better.

Naw, not yet, but at 6am in NC it's still pitch dark and ppl like to run up beside me and chill right inbetween the gas cap and front of the rear door.

I about totalled my truck when I looked for too long trying to see if anyone was there and the highway turned red from 20+ instantaneous braking drivers. My black car needs a motor, so I have to keep 1 running and driving, lol.
