95 Tahoe Transmission slipping in reverse

My 95 Tahoe 4x4 transmission is slipping in Reverse. All the forward gears work fine. The problem started this summer with a strange vibration when I would back-up from a parking spot and kept getting worse as time went on. Has anyone had this happen and is there any cheap fix as I suspect there is not. I'm guessing the reverse parts in the Tranny have wore out completely.

I had it happen on a 95 Silverado. Sun gear shell failure. Rebuilding is really the only option since the 1995 model was a transition year and nothing else will swap. There are even early, mid, and late year versions that won't swap in within the 95 model year and get along with the various electronic functions.
