So, I recently bought a 95 Yukon 2DR 4x4, and as I'm doing the "breakout" maintenance, I notice that when I drive the truck for 30 minutes or longer, it won't start without a jump... If I let it cool down, it'll start, but I don't want to be stuck in a parking lot letting this thing cool down so I can go home...
If I'm doing short trips around the city, the truck seems fine; but if I drive to the other side of the city, I'm stranded...
For example, I went to the local Pull-A-Part yard to find some front bucket seats (leather out of a Trailblazer) and the truck seemed fine on the way there; I pulled the seats, and loaded them up, then made a few more stops on the way home. Got to Home Cheapo to grab a spool of wire for my welder, and I get into the truck, and crank/no start... Bummed a jump, and no issues starting...
Is this an ICM issue or a starter/battery/alternator issue?? I'm kinda stumped...
I don't want to start throwing parts at the truck until I hit something, so I need you guy's help...
