So I drove my truck home from work as I normally do... no issues... no weird noises or anything... I park the truck in a spot and turn it off but then I saw my truck was crooked so I hop back in it to straighten it out...

I turn the key and it tried to start then...NOTHING... Dash lights are all off (I had an SES code 43 knock sensor) gages don't move, and the truck says NOTHING when I turn the key... no click, no hum, nothing...

The radio comes on so it has power, but I get nothing on the dash and nothing from the starter...

I'm at a loss... I don't think I've thrown a rod or or locked the motor or anything because I would still have dash lights...

Any ideas guys?

I had the same thing happen on my '96 Impala SS. It was the Ignition Control Module that's attached to the coil. Not sure if your 95 has that or not but it's worth checking.

They would have dash lights still.

Make sure it's all the way in park

Since I had a SES on my dash, even if the truck wasn't all the way in park (it is, I checked) wouldn't at least that light still be on?

I turn my key, and I get no battery light no check gages light no SES light no lights on the dash at all, and all lights worked and we're present when I tried to start the truck the second time... in the middle of cranking, everything just stopped and went silent...

I actually just bought an ICM from a fellow member here (thanks Escahoe) but I haven't put it on yet...

Other than it dragging a bit while cranking like the battery was dying, I never had any problems starting the truck...

Just for the hell of it, did you try bumping the starter? Try putting power directly to the starter, carefully!! See what happens. If the starter does something, start tracing it back.

I like the first posters opinion on checking all the related fuses and I'll add relays. If the radio come on, obviously you have power. Just not to where it needs to go
