Pushing mine back into place has actually helped keep it cool inside. I guess even a small gap can make a difference. Someone on gmt400.com had the same problem, so it must be fairly common.

Thanks for posting this thread, I would still be cussing my a/c if you hadn’t.

Hey glad to help. I know it drove me crazy until I figured it out. I eventually came to the conclusion one night after work of feeling everything in the floorboards for what was hot. The ac was blowing full blast on the way home so nothing should have been warm. But the firewall was right there at the boot, and I felt like a genius [emoji3447] because I'd finally figured it out. [emoji16][emoji95]
