96 Tahoe broken torsion link

I installed a 3" suspension lift, with keys, upper cotrol arms, shocks approximately a year ago. I had an issue with the upper control arm hitting the spindle. I back the keys off and fixed that issue. While driving on an gravel road i hit some rain wash area and the torsion link broke on the drivers side. I replace it and as soon as I back out of the drive and slight turn to the left the link broke again. Any suggestions will help.
