no it wasn't. it was running between 40-60psi. i tore the engine down looking for clues but couldn't find any definite reason why it would have spun bearings.

the only good thing that came of all this is now i have a truck with 4k miles on the engine & no oil leaks in my driveway. I also took the time and replaced the trans filter and fluid, torque converter, radiator and cat back exhaust. Ive also replaced a lot of suspension parts and new red head steering box. truck drives like new.

Thanks David, I have owned a lot of cars (33 to be exact) and many of them were expensive or fast. I get way more compliments and questions on my old truck then all of my other cars combined. This is my favorite one of all that ive owned. I plan on keeping it for a long time.

WestPalm, the L31 was definitely a far easier swap. I would have advised you to buy a beater. I suggest that anyone honestly. That Yukon is extremely nice, and I think you would have a lot more fun with an LSX. With your situation in mind though, you went the best route for you. I would still do the LSX swap down the road though. ;)
