Hey guys, I just got a 99 tahoe thats 2wd and Im trying to find out the biggest tires that will fit on stock suspension with small torsion crank. Stock it has 235/75r15s and it looks real weird with such a small wheel.

What have you guys gotten to fit with minimal torsion cranking and modification? I want to go the biggest possible but I do not plan on doing a lift.

Comet is right, 2WD don't have torsion bars.

I'd do some research on the Tirerack web site. Start with your vehicle stock size and work up from there. Keep in mind that if you go larger diameter you're effectively changing the differential drive ratio. If, on the other hand, you stay close to the OEM diameter, your ration will remain the same as OEM. You can go larger, that is wider, with close to the OEM diameter. I have 18 inch wheels, yet the tire diameter is almost OEM.
