if those quick shots were just discharging the pressure in one rubber hose then you definitely have oil issues. Probably the same if you quickly just spurted the system into a bottle as well. I don't have any spray or oil residue when I test mine occasionally.

Could this be causing the pressure and temps I am getting and the clutch not cycling? Can you suggest a method of evacuating and recharging without flushing and still ensure I have the correct amount of oil and coolant?
