Build sheet includes:
Do these entries indicate that US/State Gov't was original buyer?
DISCOUNT - DEALER ALLOWANCE, ADMINISTRATIVE

Do these options indicate Z71 configuration?

GM has posted a lot of their original documentation online in their Vehicle Information Kits:


It’ll have the RPO code breakdowns and may be of interest. Being a base model, odds are higher that it was a fleet sale, so government ownership seems reasonable.

If it had the Z71 package, it’ll have that RPO code on the glovebox label.

I've asked a couple questions here I now see I might have discovered with more research, but I've learned enough already to resolve more questions cruising the forum. Your tip, GM Heritage Archive, is a big help. I've learned much about our Base model. It has all the HD stuff, but no limited-slip, the prime option I would have ordered. On the plus side, it has manual windows. A Motorhead from the 50's, I like strong simple cars. Thanks for the info.
