Belltech and DJM make kits for our trucks, maybe even McGaughys (spell check).

You must have a 4 door. Looks a little different than mine. I'm going to have to get under mine to get a shot like that, looks cool.

So, everything is clearing without any problems?
I hope, bending driveshafts is no good, hah.

Yea a few different crossmembers in the way. i rubbed the driveshaft once and said thats enough time to notch. i was just test driving the truck too... I need to figure out a pinion angle still. im at 2* at the pinion but not sure if i should go mroe or less.

I actually have a Western Chassis kit from a 97 Silverado. It's basically the same kit for all years for leafs in the back. The Western Chassis kit is NOT adjustable and I would never recommend it on a Tahoe for anyone else. I'm also running stock shocks because with lowering shocks it brought it down even MORE. I really think the bracket with the western chassis kit is thicker making it as if there is about a 1.5" drop block compared to a DJM kit. I don't have any pictures but basically I've notched every crossmember, put lift shackles, 4* of pinion shim, and my pinion angle is STILL way off. I'm going up, lol.

When I do my lift I have to replace a driveshaft now, as well as re weld the crossmembers where the driveshaft bent the notches I cut.

That's the true problem. I didn't want to fork up the cash for a Tahoe flip kit. Lol.

Oh well, lift is in the mail now :)

Just curious. What was the difference in cost between the pick-up and tahoe flip kits?
I dont remember exactly how much mine cost, it was roughly $900. That included spindles, coils, flip kit and shocks.

It was all Belltech but, I have since changed the coils to Hotchkis and shocks to Bilsteins. I need new shocks, the Bilsteins are for stock height. Though they did say they woulld work with the drop. The ride sucks to say the least.

I payed $70 for the flip kit. It was about 3 days old.

Well, you certainly didnt fork out much, hah. As far as I know, the flips are compatible from the pick ups to the Tahoes. I think.
