Im assuming you have autotrac so any kit for it will work. As for what kit is best that could be argued all day. Whats your budget that will help us help you?

Yes that means you have the auto4wd selection on the 4x4 switch. Now the 2500 is this include tires as well or just lift also are you installing yourself or getting someone to install it

Dont know what kit they were reffering to but all the lifts i know about stock wheels will work, it really comes down to preference i chose super lift because it uses the old tech of lifting aka bracket style, the newer style is knuckle lift.
Bracket normally has to be welded in some places and knuckle does not also from what ive been told going back to stock is easier on knuckle lifts

Dont worry man im here to help. And Well it depends who you ask which is better, its been argued to death but both types are good kits. Knuckle tends to be cheaper (at least superlift wise) some companys discontinued the bracket style because the knuckle is easier to install. My reccomendations for that price is either RCX. 6 inch kit is 1000 bucks ( not sure if new front driveshaft is included) and its a knuckle kit
Super lift is 2340 (what i paid) and the drive shaft is included. Mine was a bracket. But they also have a knuckle syle
