'99 Tahoe w/5.7 - Can't Shift Into First Via Shifter?

So, I was messing with the dash today, and you have to pull the shifter down to 1st (or as low as possible) to get the dash off... Anyway, I noticed it wouldn't shift into first gear!

Anyone have any idea what that would be? Kind of scared me...

Did it shift to any gear manually? How far down in gears did you get? And does it still work properly in automatic mode?

Automatic is fine, except for a little shimmy at around 50 (which I've been told could be the TCC - as the RPMs don't change, but speed increases)... But, everything else is fine..I can put it in 2, and 3 no problem..
I'll try it again in the morning - as I wasn't moving or anything, just parked. But, I just found it weird.
