Please help. 99 Yukon 4wd has a random jerk while driving. I have researched the issue and it seems to be called trailer hitching. In other words it's the feeling that you're pulling a loaded trailer and it catches the weight on take off and causes that slight jerk. Well it does this randomly while driving at all speeds. I have replaced all the selinoids in the trans. New ignition coil and a whole new distributor. No codes

Yes absolutely sure. No stored codes and we ran the computer live while driving with no misfires detected. No codes for trans either. It has gotten worse since the new dist. It was just a slight jerk every once and awhile but now it's a hard jerk that you can hear outside the truck in the drive line. Still random. You can almost get it to do it by speeding up slightly to kick into 3rd and then letting it go into overdrive. If you let off the throttle slightly right after it shifts into overdrive it almost always with cause the jerk. Other times it is just random but is worse between 45 and 60 mph. Anything above 65 and it hardly ever does it. Also if you ride in 3rd between those two speed it hardly ever does it either.
