Hey Guys

The last 2 mornings I noticed some "Fog" coming from my vents. I turned the A/C off this morning for a bit and after a few minutes off, the "Fog" STILL came through. The "Fog" has no smell and does not feel greasy or anything, just like steam almost, but not hot.

Thinking it may be my heater core, I checked my Pass side carpet and sure as crap, damp. But it doesn't smell like anything other than water on carpet.

Anyone have any ideas? Could it still be the Heater Core leaking? Or is the drain plugged maybe??

Thanks.

maybe it's just humidity? i'm sure if your heater core was leaking, there would be an obvious odor and color to the "fog"

Condensation is normal if in defrost mode dependent on ambient temp and humidity level.

That being said. It sounds like your evap drain is plugged.

This is what I'm leaning to. I put the heat on full, and have strong heat, no smells. My coolant is slightly low, but I haven't put any in in over a year, so I have marked it to monitor.

How do I unplug the drain, or do I need to bring it in. I know it is by the pass front wheel, but where exactly?

Thanks

So checking my coolant level, seems it is not going down either.

Just feel/peek around the firewall on the passenger side. You will see it. It will be a piece of rubber bent 90*. Basically right above the frame rail.

Pull it off and see if a bunch of water comes out. That 90 gets plugged. If no water comes out then stick a cable tie or something up in there and poke around a little.
