about to lift, what to rebuild first?

Yea 100 would be for the cheapest ball joint. A set of Moog ball joints would run you about 200. I would do some research before you bought it. Those are not things you want to go with a cheap quality. If you are going to run 35' I would run 4.56 gears instead of 4.10

yeah...i think ill just go ahead and do Moog or something like that... where is the best place to order them?

and i have been hearing that 4.10 would be a good medium for the gear ratio, but then again thats what ive HEARD...ive learned to put very little faith in that these days. haha
what makes you say 4.56? im sure you have a reason thatll turn this lightbulb above my head on. haha

by the way, im kinda in love with your truck...idk why it looks so much taller than mine though...you got any lift on it? mines on 33s too...

thanks for the compliments man and steal away , just not literally lol . as for the light bar I get asked this ALL the time . it is a John Deere Light bar off of a Combine tractor . I believe its a 36-3800 series , they are not made anymore but you might have luck on Ebay.

haha!! thats great!! i bet they make something similar!! id be interested to hear how you came up with the idea of using that... lot of light when you cut it on?

Running 4.10 with 35s would be about the same a what you are running now. 4.56 and 35s will be kinda close to stock. 4.10 would be good for 33s. Some people even run 4.88 gears with 35s.

Agreed with 4.56s and 35s , Some even say they want bigger gears

and yes when they worked it put out decent lighting lol, all of it got ripped out due to the roof rack build

I'm running 3.73s with 37s (and a 6"pro comp lift) I appreciate the longer gearing on the highway

If your going to be spending all that money on a lift and gears and front end stuff just do yourself a favor and do a SAS you could be in it just about the same money and have something bulletproof

^^ he does bring up a good point , However to "bullet proof " a proper SAS it will cost you about 5 grand to do it PROPERLY with said Bullet proof items , Can be had for a bit cheaper if you know what your doing and have the time to find cheaper parts

True but you can do a lot of wheeling with ifs. How do the 3.73 and 37s do in the city?

yeah, im kinda worried that the 3.73s would limit me alot offroad. looks like 4.56 will be the golden ticket for me. and a LSD while im at it.

Ifs: independent front suspension
Sas: solid axle swap

4.56 gear its just a good all around setup for 35s
