ABS issue..Someone prior to me did this, I KNEW it

Can i take the module off the ABS assembly without opening the brake system?

Should i worry about the actual pump/valves at all or is it pretty much just the module i need to worry about?

I have not done it myself, but I think you need to remove the module. Do some searching here and on YouTube. It's a fairly well discussed/documented repair.

Somewhere, and I believe you can find a link on this forum somewhere, a guy has done a youtube video on opening up the module and resoldering the connections. The hard part can be removing the module. The screws are often rusted and there is no room to get decent tools on the screws.
