Yeah I watched a few videos on how to take it out. How long did it take you to get it out ??
I've worked on cars my whole life, not too scared. Just need to be able to get it done in 2 days

It wasn't too terrible, it only took me a couple hours but that was in a junk yard car that I didn't really care about. I unbolted/unscrewed everything and didn't tear anything up, but I definitely didn't take the same care in taking it apart as I would my own. I need to get back out there and pull another so that I can rebuild everything in it and put it in my truck.

I am going to try this little temporary fix and hopefully it works until I can get another box and get everything rebuilt. The middle of the shafts for the doors are hollow and this screw threads pretty well down the middle and still allows room for the actuator to slide over it. I'm going to put a little super glue or something down, then run the screw all the way in and hopefully it will hold. Only problem is that in order to do it, I have to remove my top air duct and that's still a big job. I'm going to try and get that done tomorrow.

That's the best I have been able to come up with. Let me know if you come up with something better since we're in the same boat lol

I tried the screw idea. So far it's working , I feel over time it's going to get stripped out . But can fill it with some 2 part glue and re drill it

Sweet, glad it worked for you too! Yea I just have mine as temporary. I went back to the junk yard and pulled another box to rebuild and put in when I get the time.
