I bought a ac compressor off of eBay a while back and I got it in and it doesn’t have the sensor on the back of the compressor because I have rear ac in my Tahoe. So I emailed the guy back and told him that they sent me the wrong compressor and they guy told me that it was the right compressor and I said no. So he said that I would have to bypass the sensor wire that connects to the back of the compressor. He also said that they don’t sell them with sensor on the back of the compressor because they start to leak. So my question is can I bypass it and how? Some people told me that I can’t. Let me know thanks

Top picture is the new compressor and the bottom one is the old compressor. So this guy said that this is the right compressor for my truck and it is not and he wants me to bypass the compressor switch.

Anyone telling you to bypass a high pressure safety switch is an idiot. I wouldnt trust that guy who sold u that compressor.
Never bypass a safety switch.

Like what doublevive said, buy a new one and put it in..
If that's just a plug, take the plug out, put new sensor in. And be on your way man :)

ya when I changed mine it just had a cap it wasn't blocked off like your picture shows, you need a different pump, since there is so many out there you might have to just match one up visually.
