I have been having issues with my 2010 Tahoe where I have been getting mostly hot/warm air coming out of the driver side, but not the passenger side. I have replaced the compressor and other things but still had the issue. I have been reading about replacing one of the actuators, but I was not sure which one I needed to replace, because it seemed like depending on the year of the Tahoe, they were in different spots. Also I wanted to know if anybody knew which part number I needed to order, because there were different models and prices if I loooked at it online. Thank you in advance for your help!

Could be under charged or you could have a leak. I'd say get it evac and recharged using a professional ac machine

Thanks for the reply. Do you think it could be a leak even with the passenger side working good. Also I tried the reset of the actuators today and it worked for a cold for a while and then it would go back to warm later.

If the passenger side blows cold and driver hot, its a blend door problem. Plain and simple. They both draw cold air from the same place. Especially if the reset fixed it temporarily. Can't help on part number tho. On older models the drivers side temp actuator was under the kick panel on passenger side in front of the center console I believe.

Yup, you have a blend door problem. If the 2010 is like the 2009 then you need this part: Heat Heater Dorman 604-106 Temperature HVAC Air Door Actuator GM Chevy 89018365.

They are $25 on ebay. Part is located in passenger footwell under stereo just above the carpet. Not hard to get to but one screw is a biotch. Good luck.
