Ac temp control not automatic anymore

Well, it appears to be fixed now! I had to have the radiator fan assembly replaced today due to noisy bearings(or so I was told). After I got vehicle returned, I found that the ac fans and recirculating state automatically switches when it gets cooler! Anyone have any idea why this fixed it?

maybe they disconnected the battery while doing the fans and it reset

This. I was going to suggest a hvac reset but it looks like lt was done by accident.
