Hello all,
New to the forum. I am not new to Chevy though. I have a 77 K5 498 BBC and just sold my 13" 1LE Camaro.
I had an 02' Z71 Tahoe a few years ago. Missed it a lot so thought an 08' SSV would fill in the gap. It's not bad. It has 62,500 miles on the ODO. I believe it has 4.10 gears. A few blemishes with over spray here and there, however; Car fax is clean. All it has is the Takata airbag recall pending. The rubber smell is off putting from the vinyl floor. Hopefully I can air it out.
Few other things I noticed: (please feel free to chime in)
- Bilstein shocks up front - nice
- No DIC - will purchase
- No rear door functions, i.e. windows/locks - need to research
- No remote - just one key!?
- Slightly rough idle on cold start. After it warms up it's smooth though.
- Will replace ALL fluids and filters/plugs for peace of mind soon.
- Alignment seems fine. Tracks straight on acceleration and hard braking.
- Left rear brake light is out as well as reverse light - will replace bulbs
Looking forward to sharing my progress and research with you all!
Thanks,
Anthony
