Adaptive cruise control retro fit??

Not sure why you would want to add it. Read the thread about how crappy it works regarding the "Automatic Braking" thread and "ACC" thread a few pages into this general forum. Be glad you do not have it. I have had two Denalis with it now and wish there was a way to disable it. When I ordered both of mine you could not get a Denali without it. Interestingly enough now in the 2016's the ACC is a stand alone option for $995...obviously there must be enough customers that do not want it even on upper trim rigs. Just my 2 cents.

I disagree, I just took mine from ct to vt, 5 hours each way and used it a lot and thought it worked great and was super intuitive.

not to revive and old topic but this part came available at an increasingly low price on ebay.

i checked my LT if it was pre wired but it didnt look like it.
This is an ltz only option so at $60 i think its worth a shot if you have the empty socket down there

Bump...

New owner of a 15 Yukon XL Denali, I made the mistake of not triple checking if this used vehicle had this feature and after buying the car and researching how to activate this function, I learned it was not an added option...

It has everything else but the damn ACC... has anyone figured out how to retrofit this? I've called all my local GM dealers hoping if I throw $$$ at them they would add this option... was I wrong...

Hoping someone on this forum has taken on this project?

Talked to a few diff dealerships - no one is willing to retrofit, everyone is telling me that it's an option that needed to be added on at the time of vehicle purchase...

Super frustrating at the moment... The Denali I picked up has every single option except the stupid adaptive cruise control and I wanted this feature for my commute to work...

If anyone has any luck, please let me know.

if someone has ACC on their 2015+ Yukon denali could you take a pic of the location? I'd like to see if there is a wiring harness available on mine, maybe that could help with determining how easy or difficult the retrofit will be.
