Add single Din headunit to the ashtray slot in console.

I am wondering if anyone has added a single din head unit to the slot in the console? looks like it would be a great place to put a budget monitor for parking and back up cameras. Below is a picture I found on google. The large pocket looks like it could hold a head unit fairly easily.

This is my solution for mounting a backup camera monitor and several aux switches and remote radar detector unit. Took quite a bit of work, not real hard just time consuming. Best of all, not real expensive.

How did you mount your V1? I was thinking about moding my rear view mirror and mounting my V1 inside of it.

I just used the suction cup mount, but removed the suction cups and replaced them with high strength double stick tape. Mounted it right beneath the head liner. It sits behind the dark band on the windshield and is hard to see from the outside.
