Another annoyance on this screen is having two gas gauge symbols on the bottom left.
I've got a '23 Denali, and I don't think there's a way to have two gas gauges on my screen at once. But, yeah, that would be unacceptable to me, too.

Are you still having a problem with this? What you need to do is set up what info you want to see all of the time in the left and right side of the display. I have my tires' PSI displayed full-time on the left side of the screen, and the time and temp in the right side of the screen. Then, if there's something like fuel economy or trips or something like that (I've got my center section showing the music I'm listening to -- so that I can have Waze on my Nav and be able to see what song is playing without moving off the Waze screen) in the middle section.

Now, you can't put everything offered for the center part of the screen to the left or the right, but you CAN put the tire pressure full-time to a side AND have the time and temp on the other side. You CAN NOT put what music is playing, for example, in one of the side displays.

So, there are limitations to what you can put in the sides, but there are some options (including the option to do what you said you can't do).
I don't follow what you are saying, I use the main display, which shows speed on the left and RPMs on the right. The center is where you see the 'add to driver display' item, which I can only get 1 item in the center. I can select multiple items to 'send' to the driver display, but I can't figure out how to cycle through them, assuming there is a way, but maybe there isn't.

Which is why I'm confused, because if I send the PSI and the oil life, I can 'remove' both of those from the driver display, which is the only option I have after I've 'sent' it to the drivers display, meaning I know two items are set to be sent to the drivers display, I'm just not sure how to get them to cycle.

To be clear, it isn't two gas gauges, it is two gas symbols with the arrow showing which side your gas door is on. They are both in the bottom left when I'm on my 'main' screen. Not sure if you see two on the other screens as I don't use those.

Two different Digital Cluster systems are being talked about here. The OP has a '25, which is a new display and new software. KMeloney and another poster are mentioning their '21 to '24 digital dash. Completely different systems.

@nomech - I see your frustration with this system. I have a '22 YXL and I like scrolling up and down through various info i.e. tire pressure, fuel economy, Trip 1&2, DEF Level, etc. The clowns that designed the '25+ digital dash took away that feature. You can only send one info "card" to the driver display. There is no way to have multiple info cards in the cluster. If you want to see other info, you have to go to the infotainment and that is a complete blunder on GM's part. Not to mention the nonsensical use of two fuel symbols right next to each other. One to indicate fuel level and fill side and the other to indicate distance to empty. Maybe OTA updates will clean up some of this in the future, but I don't think there's much they can do about scrolling through multiple info cards in the cluster because there's no button/wheel on the steering wheel that could be used for that...

I know OTA is over the air, but are these automatic or would I need to go into infotainment and force a check/update?

Right, not gauges, but icons. I used the wrong term, but my sentiment remains the same. It looks really stupid.

Also, it’s now clear to me that the ‘25’s cluster doesn’t function like mine, and so you should ignore what I wrote about it [and the way mine operated]. It sounds like the ‘25’s is a step backward, at least as far as personalization of it goes.

The update will download in the background. When it’s ready to install it will prompt you when you put it in park. You can then accept the update and it will start the update. You don’t have to stay in the rig while it updates - usually takes ~10min
