Mine arrived from WI to FL with a delaership plate on it even though I told them I did not want it. Was rather pissed when it arrived. So I drilled them out and now I have a few holes there..cant really see them much, BUT I know they are there.

I am in a front and back plate state that requires front license plate. I don’t think the front plate looks bad at all.

Luckily my dealer listened to me this time to not install the plate. I threatened them they would ruin the deal if it was installed.

Same here. I did fab something for my Mustang so I didn't have to drill the bumper. Don't care on my Tahoe....

Recently bought a new 2023 Z71 Tahoe. In the past I've always had a front tag with my favorite sports team, etc. but not sure I want to drill into the bumper on this one. Has anyone found another way to mount or have thoughts on adding the front tag in general? Pictures would be great if anyone is willing to share. Would love to see what some look like with a vanity tag added.
Do not drill holes in your front bumper.

Ugh..yes, please do not drill. I ordered my Yukon and told the dealer NOT to install the front plate and they did. So I had to remove the front plate and add color matched plugs. Still annoys me everytime I see it.

Get a No Drill License Plate holder. https://www.slybrackets.com/
I purchased several mounts from that company. I could not find anything that would fit on my Tahoe.

The dealer installed the front bracket for my Yukon when they found out I live in a state that requires it. Didn’t charge.

If you're have to personalize that way, just take your time and mouth it wisely. Car washers will have their way ....me never unless the law requires it.

My dealer didnt quite get one of the rivets in all the wa on my 23 Premier. I was mounting a sI’ll one rubber stopper…basically a year round silicone jacket for the plate. The bracket had four holes to mount and seeing the one not totally in I did the logical thing. Drilled a very small pilot hole using upper two of the four indented cavities with anti chest license plate screws. After that was aligned and secured properly next step was the platte….After wrapping the plate around the silicone Jacket. Next step was the customized license plate and acrylic plate protector. The final step was moun the frame around the plate.

NOTE: If you are installing the frame most frames don’t come with mounting holes for lower portions. You have to install the plate with the bottom screws first and the lower screws will be covered by the frame. The benexit of this is that they upper mounting holes should be aligned perfectly to mount plate, protector and frame…in exactly that order.

NOTE 2: If you plan on doing this procedure plan on using longer screws/bolts preferably self tapping but most license plate self tapping screws are 3/4”. If you are wanting to mount the plate, protector and frame. Add about 1/4“ inch minimum and 1/2” maximum. Lobger than that you could risking puncturing the front fascia covering. Yes hidden but say you sold it to a buyer in states where inky one plate is required?
