There is a battery store in the city they have great deals on deep cycle interstate batteries. I wonder how difficult to set up running the second battery? I found a high output alternator for 60.00 on Craigslist if that helps. I got my bullbar and lighting today not starting to build it all together.

I got two big 1000amp batteries from costco. I have the second spot already set up. I am running a new battery in the regular spot an a smaller 680AMP one in the spare spot. Trying to get the wiring set up now. Can I just use that second battery as a power source for my HID's and not have it run off the alternator?
