Hey guys. It's been a while, but I'm hoping some of ya'll can provide some good input to my current situation. I am adding some 5100's to my ride tomorrow and am wondering if I should knock out the front leveling portion of my CCM leveling kit and set the struts to a leveled height or keep the leveling kit on there and have the struts adjusted accordingly. My mechanic presented the idea of knocking them out, but I am worried about overstressing the struts as well as losing that truly leveler look. Thought/opinions welcome! Cheers

You can do either option. Using a level kit on 5100s keeps preload down on spring since perch height doesn't change. However you can set the perch to level height with just shocks. Personally I would keep the level kit and preload like stock to avoid and harsh bump rebound feel from the spring perch settings.

Thanks for the reply, Konvict. I thought keeping the kit and adjusting the struts to stock ride height was the safest bet as well. Ended up going that route, rides good!
