Or for that matter any GM/Chev vehicle with onstar bluetooth module?

They all seem to have the same connections I guess the one difference is height width and depth.

thanks

I have read that they do not interchange like that. It may connect but it will not work right. Plus, if you were in an accident, OnStar would not be able to locate you.

I ordered the PXAMG, PGHGM1 harness, ISBT21 Bluetooth device, HD Radio tuner, and the iPod cable. I thought it had 3 ports, but it had 2 so I had to return the HD Radio tuner.

It does not use the factory mic, but you can do what I did and hide it and no one will ever know the difference. It works just like factory anyways.

Hey Zach, Im looking at ordering this same pxamg setup with isbt21. When you fished the mic wire up top did you go up on of the pillars. Did those pop out pretty easy to run that up there? How did you get it thru the dash?

Also wondering if there would be any compatibility issues since Im also running the lockpic for in drive dvd.
Thanks for any input!

i simply find it hard to believe that GMC does not have a OEM solution for bluetooth. if I loose voice on the NAV then its poitless to add aftermarket BT devices. Why isnt there a OEM option to solve this?

An OEM solution to get Bluetooth and to keep Onstar is to trade in your vehicle.

I find all this stuff somewhat confusing
I need bluetooth and have the XM NAV BOsse 2007 xl yukon truck
so I need to get Bluetooth and would like the Ipod control feature and would get video from the ipod to the DVD display or have a USB stick for the DVD display

what exactly to i need here?
I wonder if you are just better to change the whole head unit?

Why don't you just use the GM ONSTAR LOCKPICK it works with Onstar and you can hook it up to any bluetooth kit to it? You can find it at http://www.coastaletech.com/onstar.htm

The kit allows you to hook up any bluetooth system to your factory deck, if you want the Ipod connection you would have to buy Ipod lockpick too. You can email them at [email protected] <[email protected]> and they can tell you what you need for your Bluetooth and Ipod install. They will email you back that same day. After you email them just tell them that you will call them back and google the parts for a cheaper price. Let me know if you need some more help. Good luck!!
