I was on the GM Accessory site today and noticed you can order an OEM kit to add the Heat option to Leather or Cloth Seats. The part number is 19158411 at least with the Cashmere Door Handle Switch assembly.
Can a GM tech here or someone who has done it before tell me how much of a pain in the a** this is to install? Can it be done DIY? There are no clear instructions on the GM site. Don't know if the wiring is already there and is it just a matter of plugging everything up? Do instructions come with it? Dealer cant tell me anything and I dont want to pay $400 for something and not be able to install it or find anyone who can. Also don't want to pay the dealer "by the hour" for a tech to learn how to do it.
I called 2 dealers today for a price on install and nither had a clue. Just said they would have to "figure it out".
