Adding HUD

can Hud be added to our vehicles? I know this has been asked numerous times but I was doing a search and found a dealer/site that sells it as an "assembly"

@sumo bought a product that you can plug in that adds it to your vehicle. It's aftermarket .

Look on amazon it's called A-8 and it's not that expensive. Just mess with some settings and works pretty well.

The informational HUD cluster (with tach, speed, radio, etc...) is fed from the gauge cluster. So you would need the 8" DIC screen gauges for the HUD to work.

A lot of people confuse the HUD with collision avoidance. They are both technically HUD, but one is just flashing red lights and the other is informational.

It seems this might be the flashing red lights one?

Got it. Wish there was something for us oem/plug n play. Gen5diy has a plug n play system for the camaro. Now if someone could only do it for us...

I have an A8 that won't work in my 02. Brand new. If anyone wants to give it a try in their rig PM me and I'll send it to you. If it works I'll sell it for $30. I heard it works in most of our rigs but apparently not mine.

What doesn't work? Did you mess with the settings?
