It's all over. It was a big pain in the ass but I got a new turn signal multi switch and installed it and all is well. Whew. My $56 gamble paid off. A little background, about 3 years ago one day every time I used my left turn signal it blew the fuse for the signals. I tried everything. Tracing the wires looking for a short, I bought a short detector kit, I replaced bulbs, circuit boards for the lights, the pig tails all to no avail. I had put off doing the switch because of the price and not being sure that's what it was. Oem parts can cost up to $200 and some aftermarket ones going for up to $120 or so. I found a new one on eBay for $56 and decided to try it. If it fixed the issue then I saved myself a lot of money. If it didn't then I'm only out $56 but at least I know that's not it. It was better than taking it somewhere and have them. Barge me hours of labor to maybe come up with the same solution and still have to buy the part. Thank God this worked. Now I can get it inspected. It's a year past due. Now all thats left is the ac, the knocking sound coming from the drivers side wheel area when I go over bumps and the water pump.

Aftermarket all the way. I figured if my oem one went out, an after market one can't be any worse. Looking back I should have just done this first but all I had read said you had to take the air bag off and some said you had to take the steering wheel off so I put it off. I'm just glad it's all over.
