Hello this is a follow up on a previous post regarding some nightmarish u joints, well I folded and decided to purchase a new drive shaft, just got it in, no install instructions so not sure if I missed something, there was tape holding down the u joint caps towards the rear diff when I got it which appears normal, however I took the tape off and the caps push back off slightly when I try to seat them, kind of feels like there is some sort of pressure holding them from going all the way down, tried to do some research before I posted it but no luck, thank you fellers, took some photos of how they seat naturally, and when I press down as tight as i can

That's probably from the grease inside the caps and the needle bearings. I would say that's normal.

The caps are not airtight, so it cannot be from air.

Take off a cap for inspection and you'll know what I mean. Just make sure you don't lose any needles. They shouldn't fall off if there's enough grease in there anyway.

You might be able to let a little air out by carefully using a pick to slip under the cap seal, without damaging the seal. Kind of like you'd do for a disc brake piston seal.

I got the drive shaft in with no problems, however, I still have the this throttle vibration between 30-40 mph I don’t even know what to look for at this point
