We sell all major brand name intakes, and as such, did a comparison of our top sellers. It honestly was more for our own curiosity than anything, but with many customers asking the "what brand is best" question, we decided to do a more in-depth comparison. Bottom line is, don't drop a ton of coin on an intake, they are all similar. (the best intake is a blower )

I am sure the guys will wind up doing another dyno comparison here in the near future. They are actually doing a write up for an LS magazine for the Chevy SS Non FI vs FI shortly.

HAH! The guys do offer blower/tune packages. Pretty sure they can offer the lowest price on blowers out there.

We just dynoed the AirAid on our 2015 ChevySS. I can tell you that just the intake alone nets LESS than 10HP. Without tuning, it would be hard to get anything more than that with any intake on the market.

The guys are compiling all the dyno sheets and I will post them with the accompanying explanations as soon as I can.

A better comparison for these newer trucks would be the intake test we did for the 08 Silverado as the intake tube is similar.

10HP seems like a nice little bump. That and the sound of a corsa may be all I need/want.

Messing with the programming seems a little scary especially if you drive the truck hard. I kinda like having the factory safety envelope that's built into default shift points and engine tuning (not to mention any warranty issues)?

Am I thinking about this wrong?
